With many businesses and schools in Washington State closing amidst the Coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic, we understand the impact this disease is having on our communities.

With this in mind, we wanted to let you know, Hunt’s Services is taking extreme precautions to ensure we can continue to support you and your family during this time of crisis. We understand that your home’s plumbing, HVAC, and electrical problems won’t be on a hiatus, but rather, will be exacerbated due to the increased amount of time your family will be spending at home.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Safety Procedures

Your home is your sanctuary, Hunt’s Services respects this and we take all safety precautions to ensure your needs are addressed in the safest way possible. We’ve implemented extra measures to make sure we’re not bringing germs into your home including sick leave for any employee displaying any symptoms of illness.

In addition to our internal measures, we have recently installed the Air Scrubber in our office to safeguard our employees. While this device has yet to be tested on its ability to eliminate the COVID-19 virus, it has been proven to kill Staph, E. Coli, Norovirus, and many other harmful contaminants. We take your health and safety seriously and look forward to continuing to serve you.

To help ensure your health and that of our field technicians, we will take the following precautionary measures before and during our visit:
  • We will kindly refrain from shaking your hand
  • We will do our best to maintain a distance of at least 6 feet, as per the CDC recommendation
  • We will put on gloves and clean shoe covers for each home we visit and throw them away when we are done
  • We will wipe the surface of our tablet with a disinfecting wipe before asking you to sign for work to be done. Alternatively, the technician can send an email to you while still on site, with a description of the work to be done and the total amount due. You can send a reply email from your phone giving approval for the work.
  • We will wipe off your thermostat and or any other surface we touch
  • We will sanitize our hands before and after every visit
